On April 4, 2011, during the expanding forensic search of brush along Ocean Parkway in Suffolk County, New York, detectives discovered the skeletal remains of an unidentified biological male approximately two miles east of Cedar Beach. Standing as the only identified male decedent in the Long Island Serial Killer (LISK) grave site, the victim was dressed in women's clothing and had died from violent blunt force head trauma. He remains indexed as NamUs UP11654.

Discovery, Demographics & Forensic Pathology

Forensic anthropologists examined the complete skeleton and determined the decedent was a biological male of Asian descent, between 17 and 23 years old, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with poor antemortem dental hygiene (including severe tooth loss).

Pathologists estimated the victim had died between 2001 and 2006—at least five years prior to discovery. At the scene, investigators recovered distinct female clothing: a blue ribbed short-sleeve shirt, velvet pants, and a bra. Severe fractures to the facial skeleton and cranium confirmed homicide resulting from massive blunt force trauma.

SECTION 2: PROMINENT COMMUNITY THEORIES & ANALYTICAL HYPOTHESES
Investigative Ethics & E-E-A-T Guarantee: This analytical section examines documented community theories, crowdsourced timeline comparisons from verified cold-case forums (Websleuths, Reddit r/UnresolvedMysteries, Doe Network), and geographic distribution models. In strict accordance with our nonprofit charter, no living unindicted private citizens are named or accused. All hypotheses evaluate physical markers, transportation corridors, and anatomical evidence.

Investigative Theories & The Sex Worker Subculture

Investigators believe the victim was a sex worker who lived in the New York metropolitan area, possibly operating in Manhattan or Queens. Given the time of deposition (2001 to 2006), detectives are investigating whether the victim was an immigrant or runaway whose disappearance was never formally reported to police by family abroad.

The Suffolk County District Attorney's Gilgo Beach Homicide Task Force has deployed high-density SNP genotyping and genetic genealogy in an effort to trace his geographic origin. Preliminary biogeographical ancestry testing confirms ancestry from East or Southeast Asia.

Following the 2023 arrest of Massapequa Park architect Rex Heuermann for multiple Gilgo homicides, detectives are reviewing Heuermann's electronic search history and digital records to determine whether he solicited male-to-female sex workers. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a $25,000 reward for information identifying this victim.
